GreenEnergyLaw is the brainchild of Rob Wolf, an attorney at Shaines & McEachern, Portsmouth, NH.  What started as a desire to assist a classmate from the Whittemore School for Business at UNH in financing small solar projects evolved into a renewed passion in solving the myriad of legal and financial challenges that face most renewable energy projects.  Although the northeast pays some of the highest per-Kw electric rates in the country, renewables have remained a more expensive proposition. 

Now, however, with improvements in technology, pricing efficiency and public policy initiatives, renewable energy and commercial solar PV in particular can be less expensive than traditional grid-delivered power.
